About the event
Reedsman Matt Palmer has spent many years performing with some of the UK’s leading jazz bands, both as a band member and band leader.
His latest venture consists of some of the UK’s most respected and experienced jazz musicians, who collaborate to celebrate their mutual passion for the music of the 1920’s and 1930’s and their desire to share this with partygoers and music-lovers alike. This era was known as the “Jazz Age” when there was such a rich heritage of compositions known as “The Great American Song Book” which provided a musical backdrop to much frivolity and partying.
The Gatsby Go-Getters recreate these golden sounds to evoke the good times of an earlier era.
